Financial Planning in Cardiff
A Financial MasterPlan.
Built around your life.
Life-focused financial planning in Cardiff with fixed fees, evidence-based investing and a clear roadmap for the decisions that matter most.
Make the next decision with the whole picture in view
Important financial choices rarely sit neatly on their own. A retirement date affects pension withdrawals; helping family changes what you can spend; an investment decision only makes sense when viewed alongside the life it needs to fund.
Our Cardiff team begins with your questions, priorities and concerns. We then organise the numbers, model possible futures and connect income, spending, pensions, investments, tax and estate considerations in a Financial MasterPlan that is personal to you.
You will be able to see what appears achievable, where trade-offs exist and which actions deserve attention now. Recommendations follow the plan rather than leading it, supported by a clear, evidence-led process and costs agreed before work starts.
See how a clear financial plan can help you make confident decisions, understand what is possible and use your money to support the life you want.

Our process
How we work with you
From first conversation to ongoing partnership, our process turns your goals, pensions, investments, tax position and future spending into one written Financial MasterPlan.
Getting to know you
Your life before your money
This meeting is at our cost. We learn what matters to you, what you want life to look like, and whether financial planning can add genuine value.
Financial MasterPlan
Your roadmap in writing
We prepare your Financial MasterPlan, combining cashflow forecasting, tax planning, pension analysis, investment recommendations and clear next steps.
Implementation
Putting the plan into action
We handle the paperwork and provider liaison, from setting up accounts to consolidating pensions where appropriate, so your plan moves from theory to action.
Ongoing coaching
Keeping life and money aligned
Annual reviews, market updates and proactive advice as your life evolves. Three clear price bands based on your situation - no hidden costs.
For smaller portfolios, percentage fees may work out cheaper - you'll have that option.
Why Cardiff residents trust rockwealth
Local advice should feel personal. You speak directly with Matt Millard, who takes time to understand what has changed, what you are working towards and what you want your wealth to make possible. Meetings can take place at Brunel House or online when that is more convenient.
Clients come to us for calm explanations, joined-up thinking and an investment approach grounded in evidence rather than prediction. Our fixed-fee structure is explained in advance, keeping the focus on the work your situation requires rather than simply the amount you have invested.
What our clients say
Questions about building your Financial MasterPlan
What will my Financial MasterPlan help me decide?
The plan is built around the decisions you need to make, not a generic report. It may test when retirement becomes affordable, how much you can spend or give away, whether your pensions and investments are working together, and what should take priority. Cashflow modelling helps you see the possible impact of each choice before acting.
Will I know the cost before any planning work begins?
Yes. Your first discovery conversation is at our cost. If we can help, we set out the work, expected timescale and fixed fee before you decide whether to continue. A Financial MasterPlan starts from £2,000, implementation starts from £2,000 and ongoing support starts from £3,750 a year, with the actual amount reflecting your needs and complexity.
What information do you need from me?
We normally need details of your income, spending, pensions, investments, borrowing and existing arrangements, together with the goals and concerns behind the numbers. Do not worry if everything is not organised at the outset; we explain what is relevant and help you gather the right information.
How long does creating a plan usually take?
Most people move from discovery to a completed plan over several weeks. The timetable depends on how quickly information is available and whether we are analysing multiple pensions, business interests, estate considerations or more complex family circumstances. We confirm the expected process before work starts.
Do I have to take ongoing advice after the plan?
No. Your initial planning work and any implementation are clearly scoped. If regular reviews would be useful, ongoing support can keep the projections, investment strategy and tax planning aligned as life changes. We explain that service separately so you can decide whether it offers value for you.
Start with the question that is on your mind
You do not need to arrive with everything organised. Tell us what has changed, what feels uncertain or what you want life to look like next. We will explain whether our Cardiff team can help and what the next step would involve.
